Désiré Doué maakte al na drie minuten spelen de openingstreffer voor PSG. In de blessuretijd van de eerste helft verdubbelde Bradley Barcola de voorsprong. Gonçalo Ramos bepaalde een kwartier voor tijd de eindstand op 3-0. Metz blijft door de nederlaag laatste in de Ligue 1.
