Bailly remontera sur le court dans la journée pour disputer le premier tour du double aux côtés du Français Antoine Ghibaudo. Ils affronteront les Français Mathys Erhard et Sean Cuenin.


Le deuxième Belge engagé à Shymkent, Buvaysar Gadamauri (ATP 357), jouera plus tard son deuxième tour contre le Bélarusse Daniil Ostapenkov (ATP 675).
